HighLevel is a Growing, Exciting Community & Software

At the last event in October 2025, the HighLevel team announced additions of over 300+ new features.
And they’re able to do this by employing over 2,000 people and many of them are developers!
Some of these were smaller features, sure. But many of them were completely new things that add a ton of value to users of the platform.
What’s the point?
HighLevel is extremely dedicated to improving their tool and becoming a leader in the CRM and marketing automation space. Their commitment to development shows this.
While other platforms have stagnated and struggle to integrate AI and innovate in the space, HighLevel is crushing it.
“Out of This World” Events!

These parties aren’t going to grow your membership site, but it’s great to know there is a ton of energy and excitement in the HighLevel space and there likely will be for years to come!
On a more serious note, the conversations at the events we’ve had with partners and “HighLevelers” have been nothing short of mind blowing.
In addition to what HighLevel themselves are doing, tons of addons and individuals in the community are creating solutions for all different verticals and niches.
Comprehensive for Membership Site Owners
Specifically for Membership Sites and Online Course Creators, HighLevel is an extremely well rounded solution.
If you do end up coming from Keap or ActiveCampaign, there will be differences. HighLevel has their way of doing things just like every platform.
However, it has all the features you’ll need:
- Contacts
- Workflows (automation builder)
- Full Billing System
- Order Forms
- Upsells/Downsells
- Subscription Management
- Integrates with Stripe, Authorize, and more…
- Same tag based system as Keap and ActiveCampaign
Plus they’ve added tons of other stuff such as AI inside their automation builder, built in phone system that supports SMS (AI can also work here), and way more than we could cover here.
HighLevel does have their own membership system. It’s more basic than Memberium, but great for someone just starting or selling access to very simple courses. Click here to see a full comparison.
A few important notes if you’re wanting to use the beta version…
- This is a true beta. There will be bugs and issues. We want your help in finding them so we can fix them faster.
- Not every feature from our Keap/AC versions exists. Submit feedback so we know what to prioritize.
- We highly suggest running this on staging sites and not in production. That being said, we have a few sites using this live.

What is Memberium “X”?
You may hear us reference Memberium “X”.
The reason we’re calling the new version Memberium “X” is because the long term vision is that this version won’t integrate with just HighLevel but with other CRMs.
Right now, we’re focused on HighLevel, but the new foundation the plugin is built on is going to make integrating to other CRMs much easier and faster in the future.
One of the key changes is the introduction of “Local Tags”. Instead of creating membership levels and protecting content with tags directly from the CRM, you now create Local Tags that exist only in WordPress. When you connect HighLevel, you map those Local Tags to the Remote Tags in HighLevel.
The benefit here is that if you ever switched CRMs in the future, you would connect your new CRM in Memberium and then just map the local tags to the new CRM tags and you’d be done.
An added benefit is that you can track actions with local tags such as page views and you don’t need to clutter up your CRM with all of those tags.

What’s Happening with Memberium for Keap and ActiveCampaign?
Not Going Anywhere
Memberium for Keap and Memberium for ActiveCampaign are still being developed, new features are being added, and both are still fully active!
Memberium for Keap is being updated soon to support new API changes that Keap has put out.
There are many sites running both of these versions and we have NO plans to stop supporting them at all.
In fact…
We’re Still Using Both CRMs!
That’s right, Memberium and Membership.Coach are using both Keap and ActiveCampaign.
We have our own membership site (Membership.Coach) built on the Keap version and we do a lot of our email communication from ActiveCampaign.
Rest assured since we’re using our own plugins that we plan to keep supporting and improving them for years to come!
