Extended Registration Fields [Memberium Settings]

This Article Applies to

Memberium’s Extended Registration Fields setting lets you ask for more information on the default WordPress registration page. Almost all of our customers’ sites won’t use this setting since they will not use the default registration page.

What is the default registration page?

Here is what the default WordPress registration page looks like without the setting enabled…

WordPress only asks for a username and an email address. For a membership site, you definitely need more information and typically the username and email will/should be the same thing.

By turning on the Extended Registration Fields setting, the page will be updated to look like this…

In addition to the email address, Memberium will also ask for the first and last name.

Is there a better WordPress membership registration page?

Yes, there is a better registration option you can use on your membership site.

You can use [memb_registration_form] to create a custom registration form that has all the fields you want, creates the member in WordPress, and creates the member in Infusionsoft/Keap.

The form can be completely customized. Here is an example registration form you can get with Memberium’s 24 prebuilt page templates.
