This Article Applies to

Memberium for ActiveCampaign has integrations with many popular plugins out there. In this article, we’ll take a look at Memberium’s integration that will allow you to sync BuddyBoss profile fields with ActiveCampaign.

Using Memberium for ActiveCampaign, you can sync the BuddyBoss (and BuddyPress) profile fields to ActiveCampaign, and configuring this is very easy.

Syncing BuddyBoss fields with ActiveCampaign

Step 1: Go to BuddyBoss > Profiles page.

Step 2: Add a new field or edit an existing field from this page.

Step 3: On this page, you can see a box for “Memberium UserMeta Mapping” on the right.

You’d just need to add the ActiveCampaign field name (that you want to sync with) by following this format:

memb_%FIELDNAME%

For example, let’s say you have a field in ActiveCampaign called “Nickname”, and you want to sync your BuddyBoss profile field with it. You’d use the field name like this:

memb_%NICKNAME%

Notice that the field name should always be in the upper case.

That’s all you need to do. Your BuddyBoss profile field will now be synced with that particular ActiveCampaign field.

For BuddyPress users

If you’re using BuddyPress, then the same method can be followed, the only difference being is that the profile fields would be located under Users > Profiles Fields page.

You can now add / edit profile fields and then on that page, enter the ActiveCampaign field name under “Memberium UserMeta Mapping” as per the above instructions.
